Sudan: NISS in Blue Nile Detains Suspected Protest Mobilisers

ED Damazin — The Sudanese security apparatus is detaining two young men accused of mobilising other young people to demonstrate against the regime in Ed Damazin, the capital of Blue Nile state.

On 13 January 2019, the National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS) arrested Zakaria Mohamed Ahmed from Ed Damazin market. The NISS has not given any reason yet for his arrest.
