Somalia: Police Chief Pays Visit to Baidoa City

The Somali Police Force Commander, Bashir Abdi (Ameeriko) arrived in Baidoa, the capital of Bay region as part of his regional tour.

The commander, accompanied by several senior officers have visited the Somali Police Forces stationed in town.

He warned the police against participating in clan conflicts in tribal areas of regions they are operating at the moment and work on the maintaining of peace and order.

The city has hosted Somali president and speaker of the national assembly who attended the inauguration of the newly elected Southwest State president, Abdulaziz Lafta Garen.
