Uganda: Politicians Responsible for Apaa Conflict - Museveni

Kitgum — President Museveni has once again blamed the ongoing land dispute in Apaa on political leaders who he accused of fuelling the tribal clashes to gain "cheap popularity" at the expense of the locals.

Speaking at the 38th Tarehe Sita Celebration held at Kitgum Core Primary Teachers College in Pager Division Kitgum Municipality yesterday , Mr Museveni said the Apaa land issue has escalated because of some bad leaders.
