Angola: Tourism, Uan Sign Cooperation Agreement to Boost Sector

Luanda — The Ministry of Hotel and Tourism and the Center for Legal-Political Studies and Sciences of Agostinho Neto University ( UAN) Friday signed a protocol of cooperation to boost domestic tourism.

Signed the memorandum the secretary general of the Ministry of Hotel and Tourism António da silva, and the director of the Centre for Studies of the higher Education Institution, Raul Araújo.

The two-year agreement will enable UAN department to collect images of hotels, restaurants and places of reference in the country, with focus on provinces of Luanda, Benguela, Cabinda, Malanje, Huila, Cuando Cubango and Namibe.

The memorandum also provides for the preparation, consolidation and implementation, sharing of knowledge and experience in the various fields of tourist interests, safeguarding the right to equality and reciprocity of advantages.

Addressing the ceremony, the minister of Hotels and Tourism, Angela Bragança, said that the agreement will enhance the potential of national tourism.
