Nigeria: Relief As Baba Suwe Gets N10m Donation

Lagos — Popular actor and comedian, Babatunde Omidina better known as Baba Suwe is set to travel abroad as popular international Evangelist, Esther Ajayi donated #10 million with a flight ticket to help quicken his treatment.

This much was gathered from actor Yomi Fabiyi. Vice President, Professor Yemi Oshinbajo donated N1M to his medical care and got the attention of Ministry of Health to get him admitted at Lagos University Teaching Hospital LUTH.

The embattled actor who's said to be suffering from partial stroke has been battling this ailment and others for a long time now. His son, Adesola Omidina thanking all who rendered support to his father penned;

" It's my great pleasure to express the gratitude of our family to every Nigerian/Baba Suwe's fans, Non-Nigerians home and abroad. Starting with my mother, His Excellency, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo (Ori idobale ni mo wa sir), TAMPAN President & Members, Movie Marketers, Late Barrister Aturu & his wife, Mr. & Mrs Segun Rasco, Mr. & Mrs. Whesu (Awokoya) Pittsburgh, Mr. Kola Olotu, Mr. Yomi Fabiyi, Federal Ministry of Health, Lagos University Teaching Hospital(LUTH) staff, members of Nollywood industry colleagues".

According to report, Mayor Gbenga Adewusi visited Baba Suwe on his hospital bed and having been briefed of the current situation, he initiated a SOS to Rev. (Mrs.) Esther Ajayi through Brother Biodun Paseda to see where the philanthropist can help Baba Suwe. This may have propelled the lady evangelist , Mrs Asaju to have swung to action and she immediately offered to support with N10M and his flight ticket to support whatever Baba Suwe had gathered in order to get thorough medical assistance quickly. She was said to have spoke to Baba Suwe and offered him prayers.
