Malawi: NGO Leads Wind-Break Campaign Around Salima Schools

Non-profit organisation Education Support Initiative (ESI) has led in mobilizing students in the lakeshore district of Salima to plant trees around their schools which can, in turn, become wind brakes and prevent cases of blowing off of roofs of their classrooms.

ESI launched the initiative at Lifidzi Community Day Secondary School (CDSS) where, in company of the district's forestry department, planted 200 trees around the school.
