Zimbabwe: Macheso, Baba Harare Go Head to Head

It will be a super weekend for show-goers as renowned Jiti singer, Baba Harare real name Braveman Chizvino shares stage with Sungura maestro, Alick Macheso at two successive gigs in Harare and Chitungwiza on 8 and 9 March respectively.

The shows dubbed Alick Macheso's Welcome Back from UK Show will see the music fans serenaded with a Jiti and Sungura fusion.

Speaking to 263Chat, Baba Harare who recently parted ways with some of his band members said he has already replaced the trio of a drummer, bassist, and keyboardist who left City Vibration band.

"My band is intact, we have already replaced the three who left. I have just come back from my Shurugwi, Mberengwa and Fibusi tour with those new members, so there is no need for people to worry, I will be at my best.

The shows will be held at Pamuzinda Highway and Tanza Centre, Chitungwiza from 8 pm till late.
