Cameroon: Assistant Secretary Begins European, African Tour

The United States of America, USA Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, Tibor Nagy, on March 4, 2019, began a tour of two European and four African nations. The trip, which lasts till March 22, 2019, will take Nagy to France, Belgium, Uganda, Rwanda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, DRC and Cameroon.

According to a State Department statement, Assistant Secretary Nagy will discuss Africa's security, prosperity and self-reliance with key partners and media in Europe during stops in Paris and Belgium. He will also promote stronger business ties between USA and Africa, engage youth, strengthen partnerships for greater peace and security, and reinforce America's commitment to the continent.
