Zambia: 90 Foreigners' Work Permits Revoked

THE Immigration Department last year revoked 90 work permits for foreigners who did not comply with the regulations of operating as an expatriate in Zambia.

Immigration Department public relations officer Namati Nshinka said 90 employment permits were revoked from January 1, 2018 to December 31 2018.

Mr Nshinka said this in response to a Press query on the number of Zambians who have expressed frustrations that some foreigners were doing work that Zambians could do and were earning more money than locals.
