Cameroon Saudi-Arabia - Ambassador Appreciates Positive Ties

This was during an audience accorded Mohammed Suliman Almussher by the Minister of External Relations on March 13, 2019.

Unstrained diplomatic relations which have existed between Cameroon and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia over the decades have been lauded by the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Cameroon, Mohammed Suliman Almussher. He was speaking to the press after an audience granted him by the Minister of External Relations, Lejeune Mbella Mbella on March 13, 2019.

Ambassador Mohammed Suliman Almussher said there exist a wonderful relationship between the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Cameroon and the Ministry of External Relations with both countries cooperating excellently in several domains.

"Our meeting today with the Minister of External Relations falls within the framework of the regular meeting held between both parties with the objective of consolidating cooperation ties. Our relations are friendly and very positive," he explained.

He noted that they have the ambition of enabling and fostering several high level ranking visits of personalities from Saudi Arabia to Cameroon. The audience of the Saudi Arabian Ambassador comes barely a month after an important delegation from the aforementioned kingdom was in Cameroon on a four-day working visit. The delegation was in Cameroon principally for the inauguration of the Tsinga Islamic Complex in Yaounde and the Maroua Grand Mosque.
