Angola: Governor Wants Proposals for Development of Lunda Sul

Saurimo — The members of the consultation councils of the province of Lunda Sul were exhorted Monday in Saurimo by the governor, Daniel Neto, to send proposals to contribute in solving the problems of the population.

According to the governor, the members of the counseling board play a preponderant role, because they know closely what is happening in the neighborhoods and can bring agendas for discussion, with greater emphasis on education, energy and water, sanitation and health.

Daniel Neto, who made these considerations during the inauguration of the members of the council during the first ordinary session of the council of communities, explained that through these contributions the government could draw up guidelines aimed at improving the well- being of communities.

He appealed to members to mobilize in communities, especially in moral, civic education, the recovery of ethical values and the preservation of public goods.
