This was during an audience External Relations Minister granted to the Israeli Ambassador to Cameroon on March 18, 2019.

Cooperation ties between Cameroon and Israel have been reviewed at the Ministry of External Relations. This was during an audience granted the Israeli Ambassador to Cameroon, Ran Gidor on March 18, 2019, by the Minister of External Relations, Lejeune Mbella Mbella.

While expressing his satisfaction on the level of discussions, the Israeli diplomat said he discussed several issues with the Minister concerning bilateral relations between Cameroon and Israel. "I met with the Minister of External Relations and discussed some bilateral issues between Cameroon and Israel and I am very pleased that he found the time to receive me within such short notice.

For me, it is proof of consolidated friendship between our two governments and our two nations." Ambassador Ran Gidor noted that both positive and challenging stakes were discussed during the over 30 minutes audience.

"Some of the issues raised were very positive and others were more problematic but I am sure that together we will be able to overcome all difficulties," he assured. Cameron and Israel, it should be noted, cooperate and exchange expertise in several sectors such as security, education, agriculture, technology and women empowerment.
