Africa: Tribute to Ramlochun, Referee of AFCON 1982 Final

It is with great sadness we learned our friend and fellow Mauritian, Sohan Ramlochun, referee of the final of the 1982 Ghana-Libya African Cup of Nations passed away on Tuesday, 19 March 2019, in his native country at the age of 85.

Ramlochun was a colossus of refereeing amongst the Indian Ocean countries. He participated in several international tournaments.

On behalf of CAF Executive Committee and the entire African football family, CAF President Ahmad Ahmad has expressed his deepest condolences to the Mauritius Football Association and the bereaved family.
