Luanda — The South African under-23 national football squad arrived in Luanda, on Wednesday to play against the Angolan national team, the first leg of the second-last round of access to the African Cup of Nations (CAN2019) in Egypt.
Angop has learnt at the "4 de Fevereiro" International Airport, that for the Friday match at 4:00 p.m., at 11 de Novembro Stadium, the Bafana-Bafana (official name of the South African team) brought to Angola a 37-element delegation, including 22 players.
Wednesday at 4:00 p.m., South Africa will be training in the field adjacent to 11 November Stadium.
The Under-23 Africa Cup will take place in Egypt as from 8 to 22 November, 2019.
The African Under-23 Championship will qualify the teams to the 2020 Olympic Games in Japan.
