Nigeria: Deltans Have Shown Overwhelming Confidence in Okowa - UK Forum

Ughelli — A group of Deltans in the United Kingdom under the aegis of Delta State Forum, UK, have applauded the reelection of the state governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa stating that, Deltans irrespective of ethnicity have shown overwhelming confidence in his mandate at the polling booths having made an excellent choice on his expertise, experience and talent.

The forum while reacting to the outcome of the elections in a statement yesterday, expressed confidence in the governor saying, "We are certain that during your second term as Governor of Delta state you will continue to promote cooperation, dialogue and reconciliation, essential for the stability and prosperity of the whole of Delta State."

Chairman of the forum, Jonathan Efemini in the statement, said: "We are sure that under your great leadership, wisdom and guidance our State will strive to much greater heights and achievements as you deliver your 'Smart Agenda.'

"Your performance to date has been commendable and we look forward to the opportunity of collaborating with you in addressing common challenges facing the state and building a safe and economically stable State.

"We send our best wishes for your continued strength and success during your second term in office as you work for the good of Delta State and Deltans.

"Delta State Forum UK congratulates you on your successful re-election as governor of our beloved Delta State as Deltans have shown overwhelming confidence in your mandate at the polling booths and have made an excellent choice based on your expertise, experience and talent."
