Mombasa — An employee of the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) jumped to this death from the control tower of the Moi International Airport, Mombasa.

KCAA says the circumstances surrounding the death of the Aerodrome Control Officer II (ATC 69) remain unclear.

"The family of the deceased was informed and our officers are working closely with the relevant authorities to investigate the incident," KCAA said in a statement.

"Our thoughts go out to the family and friends at this difficult time. We extend our deepest sympathies and keep them in our prayers," the authority added.
