Nigeria: Boko Haram - Army Records Another Victory in 4 Northern Villages, Kills 27

The Nigerian Army has consolidated on its recent victories against the dreaded Boko Haram as they again killed 27 members of the sect and recovered arms and ammunition during the encounter.

The operation, which was jointly carried out by troops of Section 1, Lafia Dole with Chadian Defence Forces on Saturday, April 13, 2019, had members of the deadly sect decimated and overpowered in four villages: Wulgo, Tumbuma, Chikun Gudu, and Bukar Maryam villages.

The acting director, Army Public Relations, Colonel Sagir Musa, revealed that there were no casualties on the part of the Nigerian and Chadian forces.

Colonel Musa also stated that "Coordinated military operation is ongoing especially in the fringes of Gombaru-Ngala and some surrounding areas to deal with the fleeing bandits running out from multinational Joint Task Force (Op YANCIN TAFKI) onslaught on their hideouts.
