South Africa: Pedestrian Left Seriously Injured Following Collision

Bromhof — A man, believed to be in his 20s, was left seriously injured this evening when he was struck by a light motor vehicle at the President Fouche and Kelly Road intersection in Bromhof.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 19h30 to find City of Johannesburg EMS already in attendance.

On assessment, paramedics found that the man had sustained numerous injuries and was in a serious condition.

The man was treated for his injuries and provided with several advanced life support interventions before he was transported to Helen Joseph Provincial Hospital for further care.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
