Angola: Basketball - Petro Get Ahead in Final Play-Off

Luanda — Petro de Luanda squad started well last Monday the first round of the final of the top division National Basketball Championship, for beating 1º de Agosto by 89-84, thus getting ahead of the seven-game playoffs.

The game was played in 1º de Agosto's home, Victorino Cunha Pavilion, in Luanda.

By the end of the first half, Petro de Luanda were already ahead of the score (39-45).

The best scorer of the game was the host team's shooting guard Emanuel Quezada, with 32 points.

The second final play-off game is scheduled for this week Wednesday in the same venue.

The top division National Basketball Championship title is being held by 1º de Agosto.
