South Africa: Two Cars Collide Leaving Four Injured

Thornville — Four people were left injured yesterday afternoon following a collision between two light motor vehicles at the P177 and Umlaas Road in Thornville, KwaZulu Natal.

ER24 personnel, along with other services, arrived on the scene to find both vehicles in the road, the occupants were found seated in the road.

Medics assessed the patients and found that one person had sustained serious injuries while three others had sustained minor to moderate injuries.

The patients were treated for their injuries and thereafter transported to Mediclinic Pietermaritzburg and Edendale Provincial hospital for further care.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
