Zambia: 'Open-Ended Load-Shedding Will Hurt Zesco, Economy'

THE Zambia Energy Forum has described Zesco's planned open-ended load-shedding as unfortunate and warned the measure would cost Zesco revenue and negatively affect the economy.

Energy Forum Zambia chairperson Johnstone Chikwanda said Zesco's planned load shedding would have an adverse impact on businesses, affect households and significantly reduce earnings for Zesco itself and industry in general.
