At least 18 institutions in Ghana had their user names and passwords stolen and sold to criminals, a report by the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) of the United States has revealed.
The affected institutions whose names are being withheld for security reasons include financial institutions, telecommunications networks, public sector, Information Technology (IT) Services providers, commercial network providers, internet service providers and private companies.
