Angola: Luanda International Fair Receives 35,000 Visitors

Luanda — The 35th edition of Luanda international Fair (FILDA/2019), whose five-day showcase ended on Saturday, received over 35,000 visitors and was given positive balance by the organizers.

In this year's edition, the fair recorded a 16 percent increase of participation by national firms.

FILDA 2019 counted on participation of 785 national and international exhibitors from several countries, whose score doubled in relation to 2018, whose edition brought together 372 displayers.

Belarus took part in the event for the first time with companies linked to agriculture, livestock and industry sectors among others.

The 35th edition of Luanda international Fair was held under the motto "Boost private sector and promote economic growth" and counted on the participation of 21 countries namely Portugal, Germany, Indonesia, Turkey, France, India, China, United Kingdom, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Israel, Brazil, Japan, Belarus, Uruguay, Macau, Italy, South Africa, Netherland and United States of America.
