PRESIDENT Edgar Lungu has said that he wants to interact with the grassroots in Northwestern Province so that he could know what the people want, ahead of the 2021 general elections.
"You are the only machinery that we have which can tell us the truth about what people here want for them to vote for PF (Patriotic Front) in 2021," President Lungu told the PF grassroots in North Western Province.
He said he wanted to listen to the grassroots so that he could know what the people of North Western Province wanted because during the 2016 general elections, they refused to vote for PF despite evidence that the ruling party could deliver development through landmark projects like the Solwezi-Chingola Road.
