Sudan: President of Chad Arrives in the Country to Attend Signing Ceremony

Sudanese pro-democracy supporters celebrate a the signing of a final power-sharing pact with the ruling military council on Aug 17, 2019, in Khartoum.

Khartoum — President of Chad, Idris Deby arrived in the country Saturday to partake in ceremony of final signing of the transitional period documents.

He was received at Khartoum airport by the TMC professionals committee, Lt. Gen. Salah Abdul-Khaliq and secretary-general of the Presidency of the Republic, Gen. Mohamed Ali Ibrahim.
