Nigeria: Firm Develops 'Kolo' App to Encourage Saving Culture

Ibadan — A financial firm, CreditAssist Investment Limited, has developed an app for a Yoruba traditional saving method, otherwise known as 'kolo' (Piggybank) to reduce poverty in the country.

The Executive Director of the financial organisation, Mr. John Alamu, disclosed this at the official launch of digitised version of 'kolo' that is known as 'KoloMoni' in Ibadan, Oyo State at the weekend.
