Eritrea: President Isaias Addressed Members of Eritrean Community

Asmara — President Isaias on 15 September addressed the members of the Eritrean community in Khartoum and its environs at the Corintia Hotel.

The meeting was attended by religious leaders, members of the Eritrea-Sudan Friendship Association as well as Eritrean national residing in Khartoum and its environs took part.

Indicating that the meeting is historic for it is conducted at the time of a new era unfolding, President Isaias said that the promising peace prospect is the result of the struggle and perseverance of the peoples of Eritrea and Sudan.

At the event, Mr. Amin Hassan, Director of the Office of the President, read to the audience the six-point communiqué reached by Eritrea and the Sudan.

At the meeting Mr. Osman Saleh, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Presidential Adviser Mr. Yemane Gebreab were present.
