Ghana: Remain Focused, Deliver On Your Mandate - - Otumfuo to President Akufo-Addo

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has urged the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, to remain focused and deliver on his campaign promise to the Ghanaian people and not sidetracked.

The Asantehene said, "It is always good that you leave Jubilee House to go around the country and see things for yourself, so you can right the wrongs and make sure that your policies are being implemented to the letter."

The Asantehene said this when President Akufo-Addo paid a courtesy call on him at the Manhyia Palace on Wednesday.

President Akufo-Addo said the purpose of his 3-day tour of the Ashanti Region is to enable him to get firsthand and the progress of development works in the Region. He assured the Asantehene that all road projects that he had cut sod for construction, were progressing steadily.

President Akufo-Addo, after his visit to the Manhyia Palace, called on the artisans at the Suame Magazine to interact with them.

The leaders of the artisans thanked the President for the EXIM Bank facility that intends to make Suame Magazine, a prominent automobile metal fabrication centre that would create over 4,000 direct and indirect jobs.

In a response to the appeal of the artisans to construct Suame Magazine Roads, President Akufo-Addo assured that the construction of a 10 kilometre stretch of inner-roads within the vicinity would commence soon.
