Nigeria: Minimum Wage - We Want Workers to Boost Productivity, Says Fayemi

The Chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF) and Ekiti State Governor,Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has disclosed that the Nigerian governors do not want workers to down tool on the issue of minimum wage.

Fayemi who spoke during an interview on Channels Television's Sunday Politics, said the N30,000 minimum wage recently signed by President Muhammadu Buhari should rather be an incentive that will boost the productivity of Nigerian workers.
