Angola: Salett Miguel Elected Miss Angola 2019

Luanda — The young student Salett Miguel, 20-year old, from the country central province of Cuanza Sul, was elected Sunday dawn, in Luanda, Miss Angola 2019, during a prestigious ceremony which had eighteen candidates.

Salett Miguel, University second year student pursuing political sciences, replaces Ana Avião and with this deed she got the opportunity to represent the country in Miss Universe contest.

Miss Benguela Paula Ngaça (19) was elected the first runner-up, while Miss Malanje Nilda Songo (19) became second runner-up as well as the title of Miss Sympathy.

Dádiva Vicente, from Cabinda, got the trophy of Miss photogenic and Miss Cunene Ludmila Pelivavala was awarded as the best typical costume.

In a press conference, the awarded Miss Angola 2019, Sallet Miguel, thanked her family support and promised to work towards the fight of fatherhood denial, taking into account that it is one of the aspects that contributes for the loss of civic values and citizenship patriotism.
