Namibia: Man Kills Three, Injures One

A man from Ohangwena region has been arrested for allegedly killing his grandmother, brother, a baby whose age is unknown and injuring another child.

Ohangwena police spokesperson, warrant officer Abner Itumba, confirmed the incident and said the suspect was arrested at Okakwa village after he escaped from the scene.

Itumba said the male suspect in his late 20s went on a killing spree in the early hours of today at Epatululo village.

"The suspect reportedly killed his grandmother, a baby age unknown yet, his brother& injured another child with a panga. He also killed a dog and eight goats," he said.

Itumba said the surviving child has been rushed to Onandjokwe Intermediate Hospital.
