South Africa: Community and Police Collaboration Leads to the Recovery of More Illegal Firearms in Gauteng

GAUTENG - On 04 November 2019 at about 16:00 police received information from a law-abiding citizen in Actonville that there are four men smoking drugs and having firearms with them.

The police proceeded to the said location, when the suspects saw the police they drove off and police gave chase.

The suspects bumped a pedestrian and three occupants jumped out and fled the scene. The driver was found with a firearm in his possession.

The vehicle was searched and a Norinco 9mm was found inside the car. The suspect was arrested.
