Ghana: GCB Donates 1,500 Chairs to Acherensua SHS

GCB Bank Limited has donated 1,500 chairs to the Acherensua Senior High School (ACHISCO) in the Ahafo Region.

The chairs were purchased for the School in response to an appeal by the Management of the School.

The Deputy Managing Director of GCB Bank Limited, Mr Samuel Amankwah, presented the chairs to the School and said the bank prioritises education under its corporate social responsibility programme, hence the decision to support the school.

The Headmaster of the School, Mr George Awuah Jnr, who received the school furniture, was highly elated for the gesture from the Bank.

He said he was happy with the quantum and quality of the chairs saying it would bring huge benefit and relief to the school.

Present at the ceremony were the Ahafo Regional Director of Education, Dr Peter Attafa and the Sunyani Regional Manager of GCB, Mr Dominic Cobbinah, the enire student body.
