Namibia: The Namibian Increases Prices

21 November 2019

Dear loyal reader,

As of 18 November 2019, the price of your copy of The Namibian increased to N$5 from Monday to Friday.

It is the first time in more than 13 years that the price has increased from N$3 for the Monday to Thursday copy. The cover price of the weekend edition remains the same at N$5.

The latest price increase is necessitated by the ever-rising costs of bringing you the best journalism on offer in Namibia.

We trust our audience, the key members in The Namibian community, will appreciate the need to recover some costs to continue producing arguably the most editorially independent and most courageous journalism.

The Namibian remains the leading news medium in the country, and your support has kept it at the forefront.

We trust you will continue to support us, as your foot soldiers continue bringing you unparalleled news, features, analyses and an overall package of information critical to an enlightened society.
