press release

Ivan Meyer calls on retail companies who benefitted from Black Friday to support our famers and farm workers

I am calling on all major retail companies who benefitted massively from Black Friday to back government and agricultural organizations' drought relief efforts.

The drought continues to threaten farmers and farm workers putting food security at great risk across South Africa

Thirty-seven percent of rural communities in South Africa are currently affected by drought with the Western Cape, Northern Cape, Eastern Cape and Limpopo being hit the worst

Now is the time to support our farmers and farm workers to avoid a Black Christmas.
