Ghana: HIV Infection in Western Region Goes Up

Takoradi — HIV prevalence in the Western Region has increased from 2.4 per cent in 2017 to 3.1 per cent in 2018.

Similarly, HIV prevalence in Sekondi-Takoradi has also gone up from 1.6 per cent to 3.8 per cent, above both the regional and national averages.
