Angola/Zambia: Football/U-20 - Angola Play Zambia At Cosafa Cup

Luanda — The under-20 national football team will face the host team,Zambia, in a semi finals match of the Cosafa Cup, to take place Thursday afternoon in Nkoloma Stadium, in Lusaka City.

The Angolan squad were unbeaten in the first stage, thus ending on top of Group C, with nine points.

The national team, also know as Palanquinhas, can improve the third position reached in the previous edition.

The squad started the competition by thrashing Seychelles 8-0, right after that they beat Mozambique by 1-0, and in the last round they beat Eswatini 4-1.

However, the Zambians were also undefeated in group A, with nine points. In the debut match beat Botswana by 5-0, then overcame the Comoros 2-0 and closed the first round with a 2-1 win over Malawi.

The other semi-final will be played between the defending champions South Africa and Madagascar.
