Angola: Handball / World Cup - Coach Soubak Speaks of "Tough Performance"

Luanda — National handball team coach, Morten Soubak, Wednesday highlighted the determination and patriotism of the athletes during the Japan World Cup, in which Angola "prematurely" ended their participation in the 15th position.

For the coach, who is already thinking of the Olympic Games - Tokyo2020, both the classification and the determination of the group are reasons for satisfaction, since it surpassed the 19th position of the previous edition, thanks to the commitment of the athletes and the Federation.

"We have to acknowledge the tough performance of our players in the difficult group we have been in and the proven high level of handball on the European continent," argued Morten Soubak.

Speaking to the press at the 4 de Fevereiro International Airport, the "seven national" Coach said (visibly cheerful) that Angola has a team for the present and the future, and should be more rigorous with the preparation.

According to the coach, there is a need from now on for African champions to start training with stronger counterparts in order to improve performance in each edition, and to make better performance in the Olympics.
