Angola: Governor Wants Better Electricity Supply Services

Saurimo — The governor of Lunda Sul province, Daniel Neto, demanded, Wednesday, the National Electricity Distribution Company (ENDE) to improve the service provided to the population of Saurimo's peripheral neighborhoods, especially during the festive season.

Daniel Neto made these remarks in the city of Saurimo during a meeting with ENDE officials from Lunda Sul province and urged energy technicians to do their best to avoid customer complaints about power outages in their neighborhoods.

He asked ENDE management to make new home connections, conduct regular maintenance of the distribution network and promote training courses for its professionals, in order to increase the quality of service provided to the population.

According to the official, some ENDE employees have been lacking the willingness and commitment to turn consumers into customers, which undermines the company's revenue collection process.
