Angola: Cunene Gains Two Poupa Lá Shops

Ombadja — At least two convenience stores of the "Poupa Lá" shops network, located in the municipalities of Cuvelai and Ombadja, southern Cunene Province, will open in the first quarter of 2020, the Trade minister Joffre Van-Dúnem revealed on Wednesday.

The minister, who was speaking to the press following a three-day working visit to Cunene, said that the works have been completed by 70 percent.

He underscored that the entry into operation of these shops will enable the population of the referred municipalities to vary their staple diet, with major offer of local agricultural products.

Cunene province has a commercial network comprised by 1,234 wholesale and retail outlets.
