Zimbabwe: ZCTU Hires Cosatu to Set Up Ramaphosa Talks

The Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions (ZCTU) assigned the Congress of South Africa Trade Unions (COSATU) to help organise a meeting with South Africa president, Cyril Ramaphosa to try and persuade him to intervene in resolving Zimbabwe's deepening socio-economic problems.

Details of the request emerged this week after a letter, dated October 28 2019 written by the ZCTU's secretary general Japhet Moyo to the Congress of South Africa Trade Unions (COSATU) general secretary, Bheki Nshalintshli was seen by NewZimbabwe.com.
