Angola At World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland

Luanda — An Angolan delegation, led by the minister of Finance, Vera Daves de Sousa, is to arrive this Monday, in Zurich, to participate in the 50th World Economic Forum Annual Meeting, which takes place on Jan 21 to 24 in the City of Davos, Switzerland.

The event foresees to host over three thousands participants from all over the world, among international political leaders, journalists and renowned businesspersons and aims to help governments and international institutions to follow up the progress toward the "Paris Agreement" and the "Sustainable Development Objectives", in addition to facilitating debates regarding technology and commercial governance.

More than twenty heads of State and Government have already confirmed their presence in this 50th World Economic Forum Annual Meeting that happens this year under the motto "Shareholders for a cohesive and sustainable world".

Davos is a small city with approximately four thousand inhabitants, located on the Canton of Grisons with 1,560 meters of altitude above the sea level, considered as the highest of the Swiss Alps.
