Angola: Staff Training Remains Priority - Media Minister

Cuito — Angola's Media minister Nuno Caldas Albino Tuesday reiterated as sector priorities the training of staff and expanding of signals of the Public Television of Angola (TPA) and Angola National Radio station (RNA).

Details of meeting held at headquarters of the provincial Government of Bié

The minister made the pledge to the journalists after learning of the functioning of the National Radio (RNA)'s Transmission Center in Chitembo, central Bie province.

Nuno Albino also reiterated the sector's commitment at the meeting with the Governor of Bié, Pereira Alfredo, and other members of the provincial government.

"We need human resources and their permanent training as well as working on the expansion of RNA and TPA signals to cover remote areas," he said.

During his visit to the region, the Media minister is accompanied by the CEOs of Angola News Agency (ANGOP) Josué Salusuva Isaias, the National Radio of Angola (RNA) Marcos Lopes, and the Public Television of Angola (TPA) Francisco Mendes.

Some executive and non-executives directors are also joining the delegation.
