Angola: Lunda Norte Governor Wants Rigor in Hospital Management

Dundo — The governor of Lunda Norte, Ernesto Muangala, appealed today (Thursday) to the managers of budgeted hospital units, greater rigor and responsibility in the management of financial resources, avoiding debts, under the risk of being held responsible both criminally and administratively.

For this year, 233 million kwanzas will be available monthly for the current expenses of the main health units in the province.

The maternity hospital of Lunda Norte is the one that will have the most budget per month, with a total of 43 million kwanzas, followed by David Bernardino, the largest in the province, with 42 million kwanzas.

Then there are the sanatorium hospitals of Sacavula (34 million kwanzas) of Dundo (25 million kwanzas), Cafunfu (18 million kwanzas), Cassanguidi (17 million kwanzas), Calonda ( 17 million kwanzas), Nzagi (13 million kwanzas) and the Cachinde Center (11 million kwanzas).
