Angola: Minister of Economy Swears in New Directors

Luanda — The Minister of Economy and Planning, Sérgio dos Santos, swore in Monday the new directors of technical support services, instrumental support and central executive services, appointed last Friday.

As the director of the minister's office, was sworn in Rita da Fonseca, while César Araújo and Luzia Pedro took over as national director for economy, competitiveness and innovation and general secretary, respectively.

Benedito Kayela took over as director of the institutional communication and press office, José Paz, director of the organization and information systems office, while Hersília Teixeira, director of the legal office.

Adriano Vaz Borja was also appointed director of the office for population policy, Marcelino Cerca Pinto, national director of studies and planning and Quissaque Dala as director of the office of public-private partnerships.

João Muinguilo Nkosi was also sworn in as head of department for the economy, Laércio Cândido, head of department for competitiveness and innovation, Yuri Nicolau, head of department of information systems, Vaitiana Tchiloia, head of department of public procurement.
