Maputo — The Mozambican government on Thursday warned citizens of the "enormous" impact that the respiratory disease COVID-19, caused by the new coronavirus first detected in the Chinese city of Wuhan, might have on the Mozambican economy.
Speaking to reporters at the end of an extraordinary meeting of the Council of Ministers (Cabinet), the government spokesperson, Deputy Justice Minister Filimao Suaze, said that the impact would be felt most heavily on sectors and companies that depend on importing goods from China.
