Jos — Respite has come the way of residents of some Jos communities as a philanthropist, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq, flagged off free medical outreach in strategic locations in the city.

Alhaji Abubakar said the medical outreach "is meant to support the residents of the metropolis with quality and effective medical facilities. "I felt it's important to, at this trying moments of outbreak of COVID-19 and other health challenges, to extend my helping hands to the needy."

He said the three communities were strategically selected for the exercise, which also offers public awareness on the novel coronavirus, diabetes and hypertension among others.
