Vehicles will only cross the Likoni channel between 11am and 3pm to allow the smooth flow of pedestrians, Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has said.

The decision was reached during the governor's meeting with Mombasa parliamentarians and Regional Coordinator John Elungata following a hiccup on Friday, which was day one of a countrywide curfew to curb spread of the coronavirus.
