Botswana: BEC Suspends Walk-in Services

Gaborone — As a precautionary measure and in line with Ministry of Health and Wellness guidelines to prevent the possible spread of Covid-19, Botswana Examinations Council (BEC) has with immediate effect suspended all certification and registration walk-in services until further notice.

A BEC press release from states that private candidates are encouraged to register for examinations online via Malepa and thereafter use safe and secure digital payment services such as Orange Money, Visa (Debit or Credit Card), Mastercard, FNB online and cellphone banking as well as its App payment platform to complete the registration process.
