Zambia: Zacci Demands Import Substitution Measures

The Zambia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ZACCI) has called for import substitution measures such as markets prioritizing buying and selling of locally produced goods.

The public and private sectors working with Government must over and above the measures announced by Finance Minister last week urgently develop a comprehensive list of products that should be import substituted for eight to 12 months.
